• He also dedicates himself to Contracts, Animal Law, and Agribusiness Law. He is the author of 12 books, nine of them legal, including the Animal Protection and Defense Code and three vade-mecums.

• He worked in the Senate as an advisor to parliamentarians, benches and committees, especially the main one, the Constitution and Justice Committee, at the time chaired by Demóstenes Torres, whose team he participated in to help draft 189 laws and 2,000 reports.

• He was a teacher, editor, reporter, and columnist. He adapted works by Cervantes, Foucault, Machado de Assis, Mann, Poe, Shakespeare, and Voltaire, among others.
