The bad news of the week was read on Sunday (January 8, 2023) here at Poder360: a mob of right-wing extremists seeking to overthrow the three branches of government through extremely violent acts, including against the country's heritage, history, and arts. The good news is that they, the perpetrators and the perpetrators, could have been worse—they even tried. It felt like Sri Lankan déjà vu. However, it was a fact I anticipated in my last article here at Poder360 and developed over the years.
